DR. MOHD ANUAR ISMAIL

SENIOR LECTURER

I have completed my PhD study from the University Of Warwick, UK, in September 2017. As of now, I am working as a Senior lecturer at University Kuala Lumpur (UniKL-MITEC). My PhD research is in the area of precision metrology and this research is conducted in collaboration with National Physical Laboratory, United Kingdom (NPL UK). I started my career in the field of Dimensional Metrology as Metrologist in National Metrology Laboratory, Malaysia (NML SIRIM) where I gained four years of experience in the technical knowledge of this field including maintaining the primary and secondary standard for length and in providing calibration services. My teaching and management experience has been developed when I started new career as lecturer in University Kuala Lumpur (UNIKL), Malaysia. Apart from teaching activities, I am also involved in monitoring the development of new laboratories in UNIKL funded under 10th National Malaysia Plan. In contrast, my research activities and experience begin when I started my PhD journey. Whilst registering at University of Warwick for my PhD, I am also working as invited researcher at NPL UK for 3 years. In short, I am motivated to continue my career as researcher in Precision Metrology, eager to learn, and have genuine interest in sharing knowledge.
