Biography
Ts. Dr. Mohd Al-Fatihhi currently serves as a senior lecturer at UNIKL MITEC in Plant Engineering Technology Section. Before joining UniKL, he involved in metallurgical industries as a scientific and engineering consultant and designer for manufacturing and construction industries. He received B.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering with immense interest in research of corrosion engineering and advanced materials in materials engineering as well as development of new biomaterials. As a ISO CAT-2 Vibration Analyst, API510, API580/581 RBI Professional, he is experienced and competent in experimental and modeling of random vibration and noise, acoustic/fluid structure interaction, failure analysis and permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). He authors and co-authoring of more than 50 scientific papers in reputed journals in the field of corrosion, biomaterials, and piezoelectric microelectromechanical system (MEMS) sensors. He has 10 years teaching and consultation experience at institute, college, universities and industries. He is also a reviewer for ChemCatChem Journal, Chemistry: An Asian Journal, ChemistrySelect Journal, Journal of Applied Polymer Science, Medical & Biological Engineering & Computing, Energy & Environment Journal, Journal of Industrial Textiles, Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering, Malaysian Journal of Medicine & Health Sciences, Journal of Drug Delivery Science and Technology, Current Research in Green and Sustainable Chemistry, and others.

"I am a passionate researcher interested with the research on fundamental of mechanics including fluid-structure interaction, applied thermodynamic and heat transfer, as well as computational simulation focusing on bio-materials and biomedical studies. I have been involved in many scientific projects including naturally-derived biomedical materials, novel bio-materials for biomedical implants and the application of nano-fluid.
